I've got over 30k duplicate files on an external drive. I have tried other duplicate finder tools...even ones you have to pay for. They don't even begin to compare to what you have here. Just wanted to say good jothanks. You've simplified a mind numbingly annoying task of cleaning up all these duplicates!

Your program appears to be the slickest duplicate file finder that I have found. Simple, useful, and intuitive and it doesn't hog the CPU so you can still do other things while running it. It gives you a status so you don't have to wonder. I especially like the ability to delete all duplicates in a folder.

Just wanted to write a brief note to you guys and let you know how much I enjoy & appreciate Easy Duplicate Finder. I have a 300GB hard drive that I use to store a lot of files on - photos, a backup of my PHPNuke-driven website (ie: THOUSANDS of small and zero bite files), video, programs, etc. I wanted to compare the contents of this drive with a 160GB (XP Partition) drive, a 80GB (2003 server) drive, and a 250GB (but nearly empty) running Vista.

I map the other computer's drives as UNC mappings and then attempt the scan.

Out of about five programs I've used to (TRY) to find the duplicates, your program is the only one that I've been happy with - overly happy with. There's another that I've gotten by with (it's called *********, but I can't recall who makes it) - it's EXTREMELY sluggish, perhaps a 5th of the speed of your program, and often does not refresh the screen, leading one to believe that the program froze up.

Maybe I'm an uncommon case with all of the little backup files lingering about my hard drive as a website backup, but your program is a godsend, I just found v1.01 today -- MANY thanks to you!

I just this evening down loaded Easy Duplicate finder, I try lots & lots & lots of software ... too much I am sure.

However I do this because I am particular (neurotic) LOL about how intuitive and easy it is to achieve the task that you want to without having to look all around especially after the first time. I cant understand what some of these software designer might be thinking.

I mention the above because I feel you have a Absolute GREAT product, As it does just what I am looking to do with great easy MUCH more effectively than Anything else I have tried..

You built a very good and easy program, that is really fast like hell. I tried many others and those took hours to scan 19.000 JPGs. Congratulations for your good work.
