Whats the difference between the free version of EDF and the version you have to pay for to register?

You don't need to buy Easy Duplicate Finder if all you want to do is scan your computer and search for duplicate files. That is always free, and is not on any sort of timer.

However if you don't want to manually remove duplicates, you can purchase the upgraded version of EDF which has automated features to resolve duplicate files.

In Trial mode you get to try out the AutoSelect feature for 10 duplicate groups.
